Do you photograph on location?
Absolutely. Currently, I’m enjoying the creative lighting opportunities available in our new studio for pet and people portraiture. However, my primary background is as a freelance location photographer capturing images in home and business settings, and special events. I look forward to working together!
Will there be a second shooter?
Typically, I shoot solo for studio sessions and most events. But, when additional assistance is needed for large events or location shoots, additional shooters are often hired.
What kind of gear do you use?
It's my belief that the photographer's vision is the primary element in creating memorable images. Nevertheless, to guarantee the finest results, I use high resolution mirrorless Canon R5 cameras and pro lenses, with a wide variety of lighting equipment.
Do I have to order prints through you?
High resolution JPGs are provided, so quality prints up to 11 x 14 can be made by clients (even larger sizes possible if software enhancement is used). The quantity of JPGs received varies with the photo sessions reserved. For highest quality, and a full range of print sizes, we can create custom enlargements and protect them with archival framing for breathtaking display.
Do you shoot weddings?
There are numerous photographers who will capture your wedding wonderfully and provide a full range of services. I prefer to have those who specialize in documenting the once-in-a-lifetime event photograph your special day. You deserve the best results possible!
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Often, there's a one or two hour cushion between photo sessions to allow for shoots that exceed scheduled time. Extended sessions are charged at $200 an hour in half-hour increments for additional time.
